SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST
911/EM IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Responsibilities:
Maintain applications and provide direct support to end users essential to 911 dispatch and emergency management operations.
Recommend and help implement improvements to processes, procedures, and workflows.
Participate in complex special projects involving research, data analysis, and preparation of recommendations and presentations.
Act as liaison between system users and information systems staff for the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of applications and computer systems.
Respond to user requests regarding system operations and provide solutions or referrals as appropriate.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, internal operating procedures, user manuals, and instructional materials.
Conduct user training on software applications and update training materials as needed.
Install and maintain application software and related computer hardware.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot application and system issues in alignment with established policies and procedures.
Evaluate new software/hardware and recommend changes or upgrades.
Participate in testing, documenting, and deploying system upgrades or new applications.
Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefited
Working hours: Primarily Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hybrid workplace options available, with rotating on-call schedules.
Location: Columbia, Missouri
Qualifications: Current CompTIA A Certification or ability to obtain certification within six months; high school diploma or GED and three years of computer systems analysis experience or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a clear criminal record (excluding traffic violations). Must pass an FBI criminal background check including a national fingerprint check through law enforcement agencies.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $23.09 - $27.08 per hour
