Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Physician to join our busy, rural, well-established primary care clinic affiliated with Boone County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Physician who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

·        Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care

·        Conduct patient histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning

·        Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

·        Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care

·        Collaborate closely with physicians and interprofessional team members

·        Shared call coverage to provide inpatient care

·        Utilize Dragon and AI documentation tools to support efficient, high-quality clinical documentation

Qualifications:

·        Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine

·        M.D. or D.O. U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

·        American Medical Graduate or Foreign Medical Graduate

·        Current (or ability to obtain) state licensure in the state of Iowa

·        CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

·        Primary care experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong interest in primary care are encouraged to apply.
