Monitor for transportation routes
TITLE: Bus or Van Monitor
REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation & the Superintendent of Boone Community School District
WORK YEAR: 9 Months
PART-TIME: 3-6 hours per student attendance day.
SUMMARY:
| Responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students to and from schools in accordance with policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to assuring the safe operations surrounding the transportation of all riders; student management and discipline; and communication with parents/guardians, students and school officials. |
EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience preferred but not required
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both in writing and orally.
- Demonstrated skills with interpersonal relations and teamwork.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
