What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Boon Docks Locker Room?
Job Summary
We are looking for someone with experience in bartending and waitressing. Someone who is good with customer service. Experience is not a requirement, we will train if needed!
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options and menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, but not required we will train you.
- Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
