We are United Water Restoration Group Long Island (UWRG LI), based on Long Island, NY. We handle water, fire, mold, sewage, hazardous materials, contents, and related property damage mitigation for mostly residential and light commercial clients – we provide solutions for properties that have experienced unplanned, sudden, and accidental property damage.

Our people are our product! We’re ‘Calm in the Chaos’ when families are panicked, and we believe ‘Clean Means Complete’ – we ensure our completed jobsites look as though we were never there. We build deep partnerships with plumbers and trade pros to ensure Long Island home and business owners feel prepared and covered when the unplanned happens. We promote from within to keep standards high and drama low.

The Field Operations Manager (Emergency Restoration) owns the field: crews, schedules, standards, and execution. This is for a serious trades leader who wants to run the whole field operation, not just “run jobs.” It’s a 24/7‑accountable, emergency‑driven environment. Your success is based on results and how well the field runs when it hits the fan (even when you’re not there).

You Will Own:
  • Scheduling, routing, and coordination of mitigation crews so the right techs, gear, equipment and trucks hit the right jobs on time.
  • Job productivity: labor productivity across all mitigation work to ensure timely completion.
  • Throughput and rework: on‑time completion with low callbacks and do‑overs.
  • Field quality, safety, and Clean Means Complete standards on every jobsite.
  • Technician training: coaching, development, and holding techs/leads accountable through ride‑alongs and clear expectations.
  • Smooth handoffs with Sales/PMs and Admin so jobs move from call to invoice quickly and without chaos.
  • Equipment and fleet maintenance.
  • Owning your scorecard and implementing needed changes.

You’re a Fit if:
  • 3 years leading field crews in trades (plumbing, HVAC, GC, mitigation, or similar).
  • You’ve run emergency / on‑call or 24/7‑style operations before.
  • You love being in the field with crews and clients, not hiding in an office.
  • You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and are direct but fair.
  • You’re comfortable with numbers, scorecards, and high standards.
  • You like empowering and teaching others.

Do NOT Apply If
  • You blame teammates, referral partners, clients, etc. instead of owning the outcome.
  • You avoid hard conversations and let standards slide.
  • You bring problems to the table without any solutions.
  • You really just want a desk job and you want to maintain rather than building, scaling and growing.
  • You need a strict 9–5 and resent being on‑call.

Most weekdays you’ll be planning work, riding jobs, coaching techs, and tightening operations. You’ll be on a rotating on‑call / after‑hours ladder for major events. The role is effectively 24/7 accountable, with flexibility and no time‑clock micromanagement – we care about outcomes, not hours.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $80,000–$90,000
  • On‑target earnings: $100,000–$120,000 with performance‑based bonus (margins, on‑time completion, rework)
  • Benefits: Competitive package including health benefits, 401k match, and supplemental benefits.

So, Should You Apply?
If you’ve actually converted real‑world chaos into strategic and intentional growth, we want to talk.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
