Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Provide and maintain a proactive surveillance operation that protects the assets of the Boomtown Casino by observing all customer/employee gaming and non-gaming activity with electronic surveillance monitoring equipment. 
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, regulations and rules. 
• Responsible for coordinating activities between separate shifts in the absence of a Surveillance Supervisor. 
• Responsible for monitoring duties and responsibilities of Surveillance Operators II.
• Monitors equipment and supplies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in video or electronics strongly preferred; prior casino and support service experience a plus.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
• Thorough knowledge of casino games and operations preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of casino cheating, scams, card counting, and player evaluations preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color acuity.
