The Sportsbook Agent /Ticket Writer assists customers with establishing a mobile account, process wagers, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, answer questions, and provide timely, knowledgeable, and most importantly, friendly and patient support to customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience as a ticket writer in a sportsbook or 2 years of cash handling in a casino.
- Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada gaming registration.
- Consistent positive energy, with a proven history of delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn new technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and math skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- This is a part-time position.
- Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time; 8 hour shift.
- Regularly lift, move, push, and pull objects weighing at least 30 pounds without assistance.
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud and smoky.
