The Finance Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the finance department, ensuring efficient handling of daily tasks and processes. This role focuses on maintaining organized records, coordinating invoice routing, supporting accounts payable activities, and assisting with routine financial and clerical functions.

Essential Functions

· Monitor and manage email inboxes daily to ensure timely response and processing of financial communications
· Perform Accounts Payable (AP) data entry and maintain accurate records
· Route invoices twice daily to appropriate personnel for approval
· Set up and maintain vendor accounts and documentation
· Scan and organize monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports
· Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting
· Post invoices at end of day (EOD) to ensure accurate financial records
· Conduct bank runs as needed
· Process ACH transactions and check payments in a timely manner
· Provide backup support for mail runs and vehicle plates/registration processing
· Provide backup support for bid runs to municipalities in Eastern Iowa
**MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN**
Required Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support preferred
· Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial systems
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
