Boomerang Bites is an Aussie-inspired bakery café serving up handcrafted coffees, teas, specialty drinks, light meals, and our signature bite-sized treats. We believe in warm hospitality, high-quality products, and a friendly, team-focused environment.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an energetic and reliable barista to join our team. You’ll be the friendly face behind the counter, crafting exceptional drinks, helping with light meal prep, and ensuring every guest leaves happier than when they arrived.
We are looking for a number of positions that can be filled by part-time and/or full time role
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, teas, specialty drinks, and seasonal beverages.
* Prepare sandwiches and similar light fare to order.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
* Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Work efficiently during busy periods while keeping quality high.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies regarding food preparation and hygiene.
* Support team members, and contribute to a positive collaborative atmosphere.
* Complete wholesale and e-commerce fulfillment tasks on as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous barista experience and familiarity with espresso drinks is required.
*Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
* Ability to work both weekdays and weekends.
* Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
* Positive attitude and genuine passion for great coffee and customer service.
* Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
PREFERRED
* ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification.
