Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, using automotive diagnostics and auto estimating tools
- Write detailed service orders and manage service writing processes accurately
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Provide updates to customers on repair progress and explain completed work in an understandable manner
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with a strong background in automotive and tires
- Previous experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with automotive repair procedures and customer service excellence
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to customers of varying automotive knowledge levels
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
