This Mechanic position will be responsible to maintain and repair:
Vacuum tankers, roll off trucks, supersuckers, hydro vac, power washers, pumps, back hoes, skid steer, single rail trailers, these include makes like Kenworth, Peterbuilt, Guzzler etc.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST BE knowledgeable of, and has mastered the methods, procedures, tools and equipment necessary to perform brake services and inspections.
- REQUIRED: Form 49CFR-Part 396.25 (Brake Inspector Qualifications)
- Is knowledgeable of and has mastered the methods, procedures, tools and equipment necessary to perform DOT Annual Inspections.
- REQUIRED: Form 49CFR-Part 396.19 (Inspector Qualifications)
- Knowledge and experience with PPE. (Safey glasses, steel toe, etc)
- Working physically in all types of weather extremes (We have a SEMI shop!!)
- Must have experience with paperwork, computer programs and software, such as; Maintenance Tracking and Maintenance Matrix, EXCEL spreadsheets, Equipment and DOT annual inspections, DVIR processes, FMCSA Regulations, SAMSURA, Emails, Time sheets, etc.
- Must be a self-starter with the capability to refine and follow equipment maintenance procedures.
- Must be organized and accountable to management. Communication is key!
- Safety requirements, completing online and classroom trainings as needed
- Extensive equipment and parts knowledge for Guzzler and Hydro vac.
- Having a CDL is not required, but it is preferred. (Additional qualifications for CDL will apply, please inquire.)
- REQUIRED 3-5 YEARS WORKING AS MECHANIC
- REQUIRED 2 YEARS WORKING OUTSIDE IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS / EXTREMES
