Role Overview
Compensation
The Base Salary Range for this position is $125,000 - $159,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives/equity, a flexible PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.

Role Overview
- Own and drive end-to-end hiring for complex, high-impact roles across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions
- Partner directly with hiring managers and People Business Partners to define needs, build strategies, and close exceptional candidates
- Act as the talent lead and advisor in kickoffs, interview loops, debriefs, and offer negotiations
- Proactively source and engage top-tier, often passive talent through a wide range of modern recruiting tools and creative outreach
- Deliver crisp, clear, and timely communication to both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the process
- Leverage data and market insights to influence hiring decisions and continuously improve strategy
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience that reflects Boom’s values, ambition, and pace - Even the people we choose not to hire should have a great experience with Boom
- Full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-moving, high-bar environments
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on challenging technical hires in engineering environments.
- Skilled at building strong partnerships with hiring managers and consistently securing top-tier talent.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, rapid growth, and shifting priorities
- Exceptional communicator—clear, empathetic, and direct
- Fluent with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Obsessed with the details and passionate about crafting an extraordinary candidate experience
- Experience recruiting in aerospace, hardware-software, or emerging technology sectors.
- Creative sourcing approaches that cut through the noise and get attention
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and senior leaders on high-stakes hiring
- Built pipelines from scratch and delivered results in competitive, talent-scarce markets
- Bias for action—you move fast, learn fast, and always find a way forward
- Positive energy and presence—you make candidates and colleagues feel supported and inspired
