Digital Ad Operations Specialist
Position Summary
BOOM is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Ad Operations Specialist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing and trafficking digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic DSPs.
This individual will play a critical role in launching, managing, optimizing, and quality-controlling campaigns for a wide range of clients. The ideal candidate combines technical execution with analytical thinking and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment where accuracy, efficiency, and continuous optimization are expected.
This position works closely with our Director Of Accounts to ensure campaigns are launched correctly, perform efficiently, and meet client KPIs.
Primary Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Trafficking
- Build and launch campaigns across:
- Google Ads (Search, Pmax, Shopping, Display, YouTube)
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Programmatic DSPs (i.e. Trade Desk, Google 360, Zeta, Quantcast etc.)
- Configure audiences, budgets, bidding strategies, placements, and conversion goals
- QA campaigns prior to launch
- Verify tracking and attribution
- Maintain campaign naming conventions and organizational standards
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance daily
- Adjust budgets and bidding strategies
- Optimize targeting and audience segmentation
- Conduct keyword optimization
- Manage negative keyword lists
- Test creative variations
- Identify optimization opportunities
- Improve ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates
Programmatic Advertising
- Traffic display, video, CTV, native, and audio campaigns
- Build audience targeting strategies
- Manage frequency caps
- Configure geotargeting
- Set pacing rules
- Optimize inventory quality
- Troubleshoot delivery issues
Tracking & Analytics
- Validate conversion tracking
- Monitor pixels and event tracking
- Review attribution data
- Identify discrepancies
- Assist with reporting and performance analysis
- Maintain dashboard accuracy
Quality Assurance
- Ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time
- Review URLs, creatives, tracking parameters, and budgets
- Audit campaign settings before launch
- Monitor account health and policy compliance
- Troubleshoot platform issues
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years managing paid digital advertising campaigns
- Strong experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Programmatic DSP platforms
- Experience managing six-figure monthly advertising budgets
- Understanding of:
- Conversion tracking
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Analytics 4
- UTM parameters
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Success in This Role
Within the first 30 days, this individual will be expected to:
- Independently launch campaigns across Google, Meta, and programmatic platforms
- Maintain high campaign accuracy with minimal QA issues
- Proactively identify optimization opportunities
- Meet launch deadlines consistently
- Contribute to improved campaign performance across client accounts
- Become a trusted technical resource for the client services team

Compensation
For a candidate with 3–5 years of agency experience:
- Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (Depending on experience)
