Job Description: The District Managers is accountable for leading multiple stores to excel in the delivery of customer service and sales. They must be able to develop and motivate a team of General Managers to be successful at the store level. They must routinely complete store visits to ensure brand consistency across all units. The District Managers is a key player on the Operations team and report directly to their assigned Regional Vice President.

- Reviews operational reports and records to monitor stores’ sales and profitability, manages payroll budgets, and ensures adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Conducts regular store visits to ensure proper merchandising and marketing of products, compliance with the Company’s standards for store safety and presentation, appropriate personnel practices, and overall maintenance of stores.
- Supervises, coaches, develops, and motivates General Managers to achieve or exceed expected results.
- Recruits and hires qualified managers to meet the district’s needs.
- Identifies talent among managers and develops a succession plan for the district.
- Ensures excellent customer service by providing feedback and training to prevent escalation of issues.
- In partnership with Human Resources, conducts investigations and resolves employee relations issues within the district
- Uses knowledge and discretion in hiring decisions and terminations in consultation with the Regional Vice President and/or Human Resources
- Participates in the administration of company policies and developing long range goals and objectives
- Helps resolve issues affecting stores’ service, efficiency, and productivity
- Ensures proper communication channels exist between stores and home office.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar program required. MBA preferred.
- At least five years of leadership experience in a retail setting. Experience in overseeing multiple retail locations preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must be able to sit at a computer or desk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use hands/arms to operate keyboard, telephone and for repetitive motion activities.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without assistive device.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
