What You Will Do
The Ultrasound Technologist collaborates with the Primary Care team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures.
What You Will Do
- Perform all sonography imaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams
- Position the patient appropriately to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest
- Organize and monitor patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Proactively and consistently understand the needs of our customers and patients
- Effectively provide service and/or resolves problems
- Thoroughly explain procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation
- Perform image reconstruction as necessary
- Utilizes clear and effective communication to properly screen patients prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to ordered exam
- Satisfactory completion of a formal sonography program or other compatible course of study
- RDMS certification required (abdomen, vascular, and OB/GYN preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year sonography experience preferred
- Breast ultrasound and MSK preferred
