Position Purpose

The Program Manager, Medicaid ACO manages key program components and initiatives for the Medicaid ACO program and provides strategic and operational support to advance Medicaid program goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and apply in-depth knowledge of Medicaid program rules and requirements. Translate these requirements into effective business and operational practices, including:
• Developing content for member-facing materials and provider training.
• Responding to provider questions.
• Updating and evaluating program design.
• Aggregate data from operations and finance teams to monitor program performance, including ACO process and outcome measures. Use regular performance monitoring to identify opportunities for improvement, develop interventions, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Prepare agendas and materials for board and committee meetings and coordinate the development and submission of regulatory documentation.
• Staff the Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) and Health Equity Committee.
• Interface with regulators; participate in MassHealth program meetings and report key information and action items back to the Medicaid ACO team.
• Track and resolve program issues escalated to the Medicaid ACO team by Bookmark Medical (employed) providers, affiliate providers or members, and track program questions through resolution.
• Support the implementation and submission of deliverables for the MassHealth ACO Quality Program and Health Equity Incentive Program.
• Perform other Medicaid program-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Education, Experience, And Other Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Experience

At least three years of healthcare experience.

Specialized Knowledge And Skills

• Experience managing programs, initiatives, and projects.
• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect information from diverse sources and synthesize information and data to solve problems.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively.
• Specialized knowledge of Medicaid.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to create, interpret, and disseminate information to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong project-management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a highly matrixed environment.
• Willingness and flexibility to accommodate periodic early-morning or evening meetings, as needed.
• Professional poise, sound judgment, and the trustworthiness required to represent Bookmark Medical with internal and external groups.
• Ability to adapt to and respond effectively to changing environments and priorities.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
