What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Bookman Consulting?
Our client is an exciting movie and television production company who's currently looking to hire a talented Controller. This is a fun, stable, and healthy company that has a family/team-centered culture. This is a brand new role and will report to the President!!
Controller (North Hollywood– Hybrid):
- Role will start onsite, and transition to hybrid after an initial introduction period
- Must have excellent communication and management skills
- Must have experience with WIP, Cost Accounting, etc (experience in industries such as manufacturing, construction, etc, would be ideal)
- Will help manage an existing team in place
- Must have strong technical accounting knowledge in everything from budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, audit readiness, and more
- Must be systems savvy, including excel
- Salary is likely $170-$190K bonus, benefits, and PTO
