Summary:
Our Creative team is looking for dynamic, creative, and resourceful Content Creators to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating content across all social channels that is brand aligned, but also gets views and distributions. We are looking for someone bold, creative, and entrepreneurial. They understand our brand and also know how to make content perform. They love books, believe in our mission, and thrive on iteration and testing.
What You'll Do…
- Concept:
- Ideate high performing original content ideas for all Book of the Month social media platforms.
- Research social media trends, utilize personal creativity, and leverage others when necessary in the creative process.
- Bring fresh visual ideas and editing techniques that elevate the perception of the brand and achieve a polished, engaging, and consistent brand tone, look, and feel across all content.
- Create & Collaborate:
- Create content that impactfully connects us with consumers, measured by high attention metrics (likes, comments, views, etc).
- Attend brainstorming sessions, campaign kick offs, and contribute impactful ideas.
- Dig through real-time insights and adapt content based on the learnings that are found.
- Production & Editing:
- Own content pre-production, production, and post production.
- Edit and finalize content for social platforms with a high-production, stylized approach—transforming materials into polished, on-brand content, optimizing for format, pacing, and platform best practices.
- Plan and manage logistics for content capturing needs.
What You Should Have…
- 2-5 years of hands-on professional creative experience working in social media and/or content creation/management at an agency or a consumer-driven/lifestyle brand or your own social media profiles.
- Experience creating content that resonates with consumers, aiming for high engagement, and adapting strategies based on real-time social media feedback.
- Videography/Photography: DSLR
- Editing: Final Cut/After Effects
- Art/Design: Adobe Suite/Google Slides/Canva
- Entrepreneurial; A self-starter who possesses grit in order to create content that elevates an already established brand.
- Fan of new release fiction or a current or former Book of the Month member.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
