Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Residential Door Installer to join our team. Position is a 1099 independent contractor position. Must be able to pass a background check. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various door products and systems, ensuring that all installations are completed accurately and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have reliable vehicle able to transport large and smaller doors, tools of the trade, general liability insurance policy, lead removal certified and a smart phone.
Duties
- Install products and systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively that are provided by installer.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process and making sure customer is 100% satisfied with job done before leaving installation site.
- Communicate scheduling needs ahead of time by utilizing individuals calendar.
- Maintain professional demeanor and a thoroughly cleaned up job site at the end of each project. Leaving it better than you found it.
- Time management and ability to be on time during arrival windows.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and implement effective solutions.
Experience
- Previous experience in installation or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Training can be provided.
- If experienced, a ride along will still be required to showcase experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A commitment to safety practices and quality workmanship is essential.
