Quality Assurance Assistant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Macon, Georgia. In this role, you will support critical day-to-day quality assurance operations by preparing essential QA documentation, resolving product quality-related challenges, and professionally responding to customer requests and claims.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the Quality Assurance Manager in daily QA operations and production oversight.

· Prepare, update, and systematically maintain Quality Assurance documents, inspection records, and compliance reports.

· Investigate, root-cause, and resolve quality-related issues on the production floor.

· Respond to customer requests, technical inquiries, complaints, and quality claims in a timely and professional manner.

· Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure rigid quality standards are seamlessly met.

· Assist with and champion continuous improvement (KAIZEN) activities targeted at enhancing overall product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Basic Requirements:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface across all levels of production.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Exceptional attention to detail alongside proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to thrive and adapt within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior professional experience working within a Quality Assurance or manufacturing setting.

· Experience within the automotive industry supply chain is highly desired.

Note: This is generally 60% Office working envrionment and 40% at floor.
