What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Manager position at Boo?
Boo, NYC
Boo are the first phase of a new hospitality project created by a veteran New York team
with decades of experience opening, operating, and evolving some of the city's most
respected concepts.
We're looking for an experienced Bar Manager / Beverage Lead to help build, not
simply manage our beverage program and become an integral part of shaping its
future.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who believes great bars are built
through thoughtful hospitality, exceptional products, genuine collaboration, and
relentless attention to detail.
Our Philosophy
Our approach is rooted in classic technique with a quietly unexpected point of view.
We value timeless cocktails, beautiful wine, exceptional coffee and tea, and an equally
thoughtful zero-proof program. Every beverage should be balanced, purposeful,
visually compelling, and never overworked. Creativity comes through restraint,
seasonality, craftsmanship, and an understanding of flavor—not novelty for novelty's
sake.
We aim to create a bar that is sophisticated without pretension, welcoming without
compromise, and memorable because every detail—from the music and lighting to the
final garnish has been thoughtfully considered.
Qualifications
one. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, leads with integrity, values
craftsmanship, and believes that the smallest details create the most memorable
experiences.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
