What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Bonnie Plants, LLC?
Responsibilities
- Operate/Drive a box truck delivering plants to stores on designated routes
- Load and unload products in an efficient and safe manner.
- Complete route sheets and maintain merchandise logs.
- Plan trips and routes in an effort to utilize time and fuel efficiently.
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding arrival, departures and trip interruptions when required.
- Inspect company vehicle, which includes checking tire pressure, fluids, and fuel, and reporting any issues immediately.
- Merchandise product racks at stores.
- Obey rules of the road and company regulations at all times.
- Running equipment in greenhouses (forklift, etc.)
- Help load daily route trucks with plants.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to pass drug test.
- Must be willing to work minimum 5-6 days a week
- Experience with driving a box truck is a plus but not required.
- This job is seasonal but boast a lot of hours during that time frame.
