We are seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Team Drivers to transport freight for FedEx Ground across designated over-the-road routes. This position offers consistent miles, and 100% no-touch freight, allowing drivers to focus on safe and efficient transportation. Teams enjoy predictable schedules, well-maintained equipment, and competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer as part of a two-person driving team.
- Transport FedEx freight safely and on schedule between terminals and distribution centers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Accurately complete required logs and electronic documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding routes, delays, and equipment issues.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Doubles/Triples endorsement (or ability to obtain before hire, if required).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical.
- Minimum driving experience as required by FedEx contractor or company policy.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a long-haul environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
