What are the responsibilities and job description for the ED Technician/Emergency Department/Per Diem position at Bonner General Health?

The Emergency Department is a fast paced-dynamic department with a highly experienced team. The staff consist of physicians, registered nurses, technicians and health unit coordinators who are close knit and work exceptionally well together. ED Techs provide assistance to the Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse with the provision of care for ED patients. Follows written and verbal instructions of the Charge Registered Nurse.
The department has over 10,000 visits a year and holds Time Sensitive Emergency designations in Trauma, Stroke and STEMI through the State of Idaho. Bonner General also participates in the tele-stroke program through Sacred Heart.

Education:
Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide course or EMT course
Experience:
Prior CNA experience preferred
Licensure/Certification:
Current State of Idaho Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) à
Current BLS certification
