The Surgical Services Department at Bonner General health is comprised of a fabulous team of highly skilled professionals performing approximately 2000 surgeries per year. The incredible surgeons we partner with provide a wide array of surgical specialties. Our RN Circulators are an integral part of this team! We are an amazing and fun OR crew that works hard to support one another while providing excellent patient care.
About the Role
The Perioperative Staff Nurse is a qualified professional nurse who is directly responsible to supervise, plan, organize, implement, and direct activities in the surgical suite. The perioperative RN will use clinical knowledge, judgement, and critical thinking skills to plan and implement nursing care that will address the physical and psychological response of the patient and promote the safety and optimal outcome for the patient undergoing an operative or other invasive procedure.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, plan, organize, implement, and direct activities in the surgical suite.
- Use clinical knowledge, judgement, and critical thinking skills to plan and implement nursing care.
- Address the physical and psychological response of the patient.
- Promote safety and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in Surgery required for bonus; New Grads welcome to apply
- Licensure/Certification: Current State of Idaho RN license
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS/PALS and Procedural Sedation must be obtained within six months of hire

Pay range and compensation package
- Shift: Days and participation in call rotation
- Sign on Bonus: $5,000.00 for 2 years RN OR Experience
