We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation operations across our facility. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of sanitation staff to ensure efficient cleaning operations across all designated areas.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production lines, equipment and work areas to meet sanitation standards and prevent contamination.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols, including industrial cleaning and custodial practices.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and address any sanitation issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and timely replenishment.
• Foster effective communication within the team, providing leadership, motivation, and support to achieve high- performance levels.
• Participate in food safety and sanitation committees.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company allergen policies.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial services, or janitorial work with a strong understanding of sanitation practices, preferably in food manufacturing or processing environments.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and staff supervision skills.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning standards, and safety regulations related to sanitation.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with other departments.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and promote teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with laundry services, hospitality standards, or housekeeping management is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of sanitation management.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and work independently or as a part of a team.

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to hot, cold, humid, or noisy conditions, moving machinery, and airborne particles.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs etc... and handle high pressure hoses.
• Compliance with safety guidelines and proper procedures to prevent contamination or accidents.

Supervisory and Management Roles

• Oversee day to day sanitation activities and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Design and manage sanitation programs, coordinate with management, suppliers, and food and safety coordinator.
• Maintain sanitation documentation of completed tasks.
• Lead sanitation team, provide training, ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
• This role is critical in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and productive food manufacturing environment, directly contributing to product quality and regulatory compliance.
