What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Decking Layout position at BonnaVilla?
BonnaVilla is seeking an experienced Floor Decking Layout candidate to join the Chief team. Working in our indoor production facility, this position will layout, mark, cut floor board & decking lengths and cut holes needed for each floor unit in accordance with required specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set floor on rolling dollys using hoists.
- Install fiberglass insulation on rim joists.
- Frame in 2x3’s for stairwell.
- Cross measure for square
- Install string line to meet required alignment.
- Layout, mark, and cut OSB boards to lengths before measuring and cutting holes for plumbing.
Education
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Construction experience including the use of a large variety of construction tools is required.
- Reading of a tape measure and blue prints.
