We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our procurement operations and help ensure materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. This role works closely with operations, finance, production, and vendors to maintain smooth purchasing processes and support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, equipment, services, and subcontracted work.
- Prepare and process RFQs, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
- Manage vendor onboarding, documentation, and account setup.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Track orders, expedite deliveries, and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain purchasing records, vendor files, and digital job documentation.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and support daily operations.
- Balance procurement coordination with high-volume administrative management.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication and PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) proficiency (Experience with Sage 300 or another ERP/MRP system is a plus).
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record if travel to job sites or vendor locations is required.
