Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast accurately to process orders and payments swiftly
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with precision while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area in compliance with food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating and service flow
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle phone inquiries professionally
- Organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and cash register operations efficiently
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required; a passion for guest relations is essential
