A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT MANAGER:
Bonita Bay Club's Restaurant Manager will be responsible for training and supervising service personnel and will be accountable for a positive member restaurant experience. The Restaurant Manager will positively motivate service staff and coordinate a smooth and timely service delivery of quality food and beverage, in both à la carte and catering environments. It will be your job to monitor service standards, oversee service staff, assist in special events and holiday events, and work closely with suppliers and vendors. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for training staff and providing excellent customer service to Club Members & guests.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of previous event or food-management experience
- Must have 2 years of experience in a food and beverage management role.
- Must be highly organized, accurate, and task-oriented
- Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as required
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions and be a creative problem solver
- Requires excellent written, oral, and customer service skills
- Must be able to work for long periods of time on their feet and have the ability to carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to pass a drug test
