The ideal candidate for this position is a large law firm associate with 5 or more years of experience in search of a professional career in a small town. Candidate must love helping people from all walks of life and have zero fear of court or learning new things. We offer a pleasant working environment in a beautiful setting with experienced staff and a client base that will keep you busy as a general practice attorney with any area of concentration you might have or wish to perfect. If you are tired of Seattle and want a chance to make something that is your own this is your chance. WSBA license required. No Bar Discipline in your history. References from one Judge, one Court Clerk and as many clients as you want to approach to discuss how they felt about your prior services and their impression of you. You may substitute a reference from a paralegal or a secretary if you have no Court Clerk to approach. If you are going to give me a reference from a lawyer please pick a lone wolf who felt that you treated them fairly and with respect. Your support staff will be interviewing you to see if you are the right fit. I expect a minimum of three days a week in our Shelton office. If you can largely manage a basic case load without over the shoulder supervision you will have an attorney with nearly 30 years of service as a mentor for the areas where your new practice pushes the envelope on what you already know.
