We are supporting a leading multi-strategy hedge fund in their search for a Java Developer for the Post Trade Engineering team in New York.
This role is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java to help advance people and recruiting systems. The chance to contribute within a largely greenfield environment, upgrading core HR platforms and integrating AI powered capabilities including autonomous agents directly into recruiting and workforce processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve a risk data and analytics platform utilized in financial markets.
- Reduce latency across trading systems by implementing low-latency engineering enhancements that boost execution speed and overall responsiveness.
- Design and build scalable quantitative software using Java.
- Provide support for pricing and risk analytics across both vanilla and OTC products.
- Handle and process real time market and risk data.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles.
- Extensive Java experience within complex distributed or quantitative environments.
- Familiarity with OTC pricing and risk concepts.
- Experience working with market data, analytics, or risk-related platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Java and developing distributed, service-oriented architectures.
