LOCATION

• Remote internship

• Preference for candidates located in New Jersey, New York City, or nearby areas

• Opportunity to meet in person once per week preferred

COMPENSATION

LIFE SCIENCES RESEARCH ASSOCIATE INTERN

Bongene is seeking a highly analytical and curious Life Science Business Intelligence Research Associate Intern to support market research, competitive intelligence, industry mapping, and strategic research projects.

This role is ideal for students interested in biotechnology, diagnostics, healthcare innovation, business strategy, market research, and the life sciences industry.

ou will work closely with the founder on projects related to advanced therapies, diagnostics, leadership hiring trends, market intelligence, and business growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on biotech, diagnostics, and advanced therapy companies

• Track industry trends, funding activity, and market developments

• Support market mapping and competitive research projects

• Assist with leadership and talent research initiatives

• Create company profiles and executive summaries

• Monitor hiring and leadership movement trends within life sciences

• Organize and summarize industry insights into concise reports

• Support strategic recruiting and business development initiatives

Ideal Candidate

• Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate in life sciences, biology, biotechnology, healthcare, business, or related field

• Strong analytical and research skills

• Excellent written communication and organizational ability

• Curious, proactive, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable synthesizing complex information into clear summaries

• Interest in biotech industry trends and healthcare innovation

• Ability to work independently and think critically
