Position Overview: Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced professional to serve as our Maintenance Coordinator at our facility in Norwood, MN. This is a day shift role, approximate hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday. What You'll Do: Monitor the usage of parts for preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance, review work orders to ensure inventory accuracy and update maintenance system as required. Maintain parts inventory levels, order as needed, and cycle count as necessary to verify inventory levels. Investigate any discrepancies from the physical inventory and the online inventory and relay information to Maintenance Manager. For non-standard parts or projects, gather quotes from multiple vendors, prepare and route any required requisitions and purchase orders. Manage parts receiving, monitoring incoming shipments to verify accuracy of deliveries and updating systems as required. Review and approve designated invoices for parts received. Put away all parts, continuously monitor and maintain storage areas to ensure efficient access to all parts for maintenance personnel. As equipment changes, maintain current inventory in maintenance system, adding new parts and removing obsolete parts as required. Maintain vendor relations, research and recommend new vendors as required to meet deadlines and ensure fiscal responsibility. Perform physical parts count for end of year audit and as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy. Act as secondary resource for work order routing and management in the maintenance system. Must report all food safety and quality concerns to their immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned. What You Bring: Must have above average skills in Microsoft Office products. Must be able to learn various portions of the ROSS system (ERP) to include purchasing, inventory and maintenance. Must be able to learn and utilize Maintenance System (Maintenance Connect). Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to learn and operate various types of office equipment Must be willing to learn to operate a forklift Working Conditions: Able to walk up and down stairs. Familiar with an in-plant maintenance department setting. Long periods of sitting. Varied periods of sitting, walking, standing, and plant floor responsibilities. Why Join Us?
