What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Warehouse Team Member position at Bongards' Creameries?
Bongards’ Creameries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member based out of our Humboldt facility. The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for completing Material Handling duties while safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of a Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) in a cold environment (40 degree F)
- Load and Unload trucks that are staged at the warehouse
- Pile up 50lb cheese blocks
- Re-piling of 30lb finished Loaf product
- Setting up orders
- Ongoing PIT (Forklift) training and certification
- Use EMS inventory management system
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Math and Reading skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Adaptable to both Cold and Warm weather conditions
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other quality guidelines
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- Flexible work schedule availability
- Previous Forklift experience is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
Schedule:
- Night Shift 5:00pm to 3:00am Monday – Friday, some Saturdays
