What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Loaf Filler Operator position at Bongards' Creameries?
Job Summary:
Bongards’ Creameries is seeking a Night Shift Loaf Filler Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Loaf Filler Operator is responsible for operation, verification and compliance of the Filler Machine on the Loaf line.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of hot fill cheese machine
- Ensure weights are recorded correctly on Redzone
- Monitor the quality of the boxes and pouches and communicate to others
- Ensure pouches are properly sealed
- Keep immediate work area orderly and clean
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
- Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Be coachable and able to work in a team
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- Must be able to lift up to 55lbs
Schedule:
- Night Shift 5:45pm to 6:00am Monday - Friday
