What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Bones & Bacon Doggy Daycare?
Bones & Bacon Doggy Daycare is a pet care facility in Oak Cliff / West Dallas that offers boarding, daycare, and baths. We are looking for a part time Kennel Technician to ensure dog safety and comfort during their stay and provide excellent customer service to dog owners; in other words, play with the dogs and make sure they're being safe and having a good time!
The shifts are for mornings as follows, Monday-Friday from 7am-11am about 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe interaction during play sessions
- Maintain a clean environment throughout the facility, including kennel, play, lobby, restroom, grooming, and storage areas
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions in person and over the phone
- Contribute to a fun and positive culture within the team
- Bathe the animals
- May perform other job duties as needed
Requirements
- Must love dogs!

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Maintain a professional appearance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
