Job Title: Dog Bather Office Assistant (Dual Role)
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant & Dog Bather. This dual-role position requires both administrative support and hands-on care for pets. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for working with animals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients.
- Maintain accurate records, update client files, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both clients and pets.
- Bathe, dry, and brush dogs along with nail trimming/buffing, ear maintenance and gland expressions.
- Assist groomers by handling and securing pets during grooming sessions.
- Ensure a clean and sanitary workspace by properly cleaning and maintaining grooming tools and equipment.
- Monitor and report any health or behavioral concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain a calm and caring approach when handling animals to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the grooming facility’s daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, office administration, or animal handling preferred.
- Passion for working with animals and ensuring their well-being.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient when handling pets of all temperaments.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
