This estimator role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on roofing work, and takes pride in delivering accurate estimating solutions backed by strong customer service. As an estimator, you will split your time between the field and office, performing site visits, gathering measurements, and preparing detailed estimating proposals for commercial roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities
This estimator position is on-site with local travel to roofing job sites using a company-provided vehicle. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime required as needed and two Saturdays per month from April through October. Ten to twelve hour days are common during peak roofing season.

- Compensation range $75,000-110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site evaluations for commercial roofing projects and gather accurate measurements for estimating
- Develop detailed estimating proposals for roofing systems, materials, and labor
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project scope and execution
- Maintain strong customer service throughout the estimating process, from initial contact to proposal delivery
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear expectations and roofing solutions
- Manage multiple estimating projects while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
- 2 years of commercial roofing experience
- 1-2 years of estimating experience
- Knowledge of low-slope roofing systems
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
