Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple business operations
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Process accounts receivable for venue operations
- Code all necessary invoices for accounts payable processing
- Perform daily positive pay tasks for all financial institutions
- Process management fees, owner’s payments, owner’s reserve, and security deposit refunds
- Track expenses and income across farming, venue, and rental properties
- Prepare and organize financial reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles and company policies
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage 50)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sets of books or business entities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with property management accounting
- Understanding of cost allocation
- Combination of officebased work with occasional interaction across business operations
