Service Scheduling & Customer Care Coordinator

At Bondy’s Nissan, our Service Call Center is the communication hub of our service department. This is not a quiet front-desk role. This is a high-volume, phone-based position that keeps the service department running smoothly.

We are hiring an agent who will answer any incoming calls to the Service Department.

What This Job Actually Is

You will:

• Answer a high volume of incoming service calls throughout the day
• Schedule service appointments
• Transfer customers to their Service Advisor when appropriate
• Provide pricing and basic service information
• Make daily follow-up calls to customers who visited the day before to ensure satisfaction
• Call customers from Nissan-provided promotional/manifest lists during special campaigns
• Cover the cashier position as needed
• Handle paperwork processing
• Roles may rotate

This is a team of two. You are consistently on the phone and working with internal staff.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Customer Communication
• Answer and manage a steady flow of incoming calls
• Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately
• Provide service pricing and information when requested
• Route calls correctly and professionally

Outbound Calling & Follow-Up

• Call customers after their visit to confirm satisfaction
• Contact customers regarding recalls, promotions, and service campaigns
• Work Nissan-provided call lists during special events

Administrative Support

• Enter and update customer and vehicle information
• Scan and verify service paperwork daily
• Maintain organized records

Cashier Coverage

• Process payments when covering the cashier
• Handle transactions accurately and professionally
• Rotate Saturday shifts as part of the team schedule

You’re a Good Fit If You:

• Are comfortable being on the phone most of the day
• Can handle high call volume without getting overwhelmed
• Are organized and detail-oriented
• Can multitask between calls, paperwork, and internal communication
• Are willing to learn basic automotive knowledge
• Have strong computer skills
• Have prior customer service experience (automotive experience is a plus but not required)

• It is not a low-call front desk position
• It is not primarily filing or data entry
• It is not a sales role
• It is not a work-at-your-own-pace job
