Position Overview:
BondLink is hiring a Lead Typesetter to bring the production of Preliminary Official Statements (POS) and Official Statements (OS) in-house. You’ll own the formatting, quality assurance, and final delivery of professionally typeset, legally compliant documents critical to municipal bond transactions.
This is a deadline-driven role with a consistent afternoon/evening schedule to support same-day turnarounds and West Coast issuers. You'll also may supervise a part-time support typesetter and help create and maintain process standards.
Client Support Expectations:
Our clients often come to market with bond sales that are time-sensitive and high-stakes. During these critical times, there is an expectation that our Customer Success team is available to provide immediate and comprehensive support, which may require working evenings (Monday - Friday) to ensure seamless execution. The successful candidate should be flexible, adaptable, and ready to provide exceptional client service, even outside of standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
Format and typeset POS, OS, Supplement, Notice of Sale, etc, documents using Adobe InDesign
Import and format financial tables from Excel and Word
Perform final QA and export EMMA-compliant PDFs
Maintain templates, styles, and formatting standards
Manage version control and secure file storage
Handle same-day legal edits and final OS delivery
Collaborate with the CS coordinator on workflow tracking
Communicate with the deal team to compile and finalize documents
Manage and mentor the Support Typesetter, providing guidance and quality oversight
Qualifications:
4 years of document layout/typesetting experience (InDesign required)
Experience working on municipal finance, legal, or SEC-compliant document
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro
Comfortable working with complex financial tables and legal disclaimers
Familiarity with remote collaboration tools
Experience collaborating with legal teams and client services
Able to work a consistent 2 PM – 10 PM EST shift, and be available for deals that may require additional later hours, Monday–Friday
Strong attention to detail and process ownership
