We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update shipment statuses
- Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately by using order pickers and RF scanners for precise order picking and packing
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries against purchase orders and recording receipt details in the warehouse system
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas for optimal accessibility and space utilization
- Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory software platforms
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Experience with order fulfillment processes in e-commerce settings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stocking and order picking tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
