Portable Restroom Service Technician
The Portable Restroom Service Technician / Driver is responsible for delivering, servicing, cleaning, and retrieving portable restrooms and related sanitation equipment at customer locations. This position requires safe operation of company service trucks, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesQualificationsPhysical RequirementsWork Environment
- Safely operate company service trucks in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Deliver, pick up, and relocate portable restrooms, handwashing stations, holding tanks, and related equipment.
- Service portable restrooms by:
- Pumping waste from holding tanks.
- Cleaning and sanitizing interior and exterior surfaces.
- Refilling fresh water and hand sanitizer.
- Restocking toilet paper and other supplies.
- Performing quality inspections to ensure units are clean and functional.
- Complete assigned service routes efficiently and on schedule.
- Inspect equipment for damage and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform routine inspections of assigned vehicles, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate service logs, route documentation, and customer records.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service and address customer concerns when appropriate.
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with yard organization, equipment maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required if applicable).
- Ability to safely operate medium-duty service trucks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Previous delivery, sanitation, septic, or service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Ability to safely handle hoses, pumps, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation equipment.
- Ability to enter and exit service vehicles multiple times throughout the workday.
- Outdoor work in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction settings.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, traffic, uneven terrain, and sanitation-related environments.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during peak seasons.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
