Bonaventure Senior Living is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist looking for a full-time position with a growing company and an exciting team! Our Home Office in Salem, Oregon supports those providing care to residents at our communities in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
We are seeking someone to enhance our Human Resources team. The Human Resources Generalist will provide proactive support as part of the Human Resources team. A successful candidate will serve as the initial point of contact for the Human Resources Department and provide day-to-day guidance on employee relations and general HR related questions.

What does an HR Generalist do for Bonaventure?
This position is critical within our Human Resources team. In this role, you will:
- Provide guidance on employee relation issues, including the imposition of discipline and resolving conflicts.
- Conducting investigations on employment issues, which includes working with both employees and managers to resolve sensitive issues.
- Partner with department leaders on HR related issues.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employments laws and regulations and recommend best practices for continued compliance.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and practices are followed.
- Research, compile, and coordinate projects as requested.
- Critically review employment related reports and other documents and summarize findings.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel and training files.
- Partner with department leaders and management to implement effective HR processes to increase legal compliance, accurate record keeping, and employee retention.
Qualifications
- Three years Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Detail Orientated.
- Organization and Time Management Skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Minimum High School Diploma, post High School education a plus.
- English language required.
