What Will You Be Doing?
The Executive Chef is a crucial part of our dining services team, which is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting menus and developing standardized recipes and food production schedules.
- Overseeing kitchen and dining staff while managing budget and inventory.
- Leading and inspiring excellent customer service for our residents.
- Ensuring meals are served with an appetizing and attractive presentation.
- Creating and maintaining the schedule for the dining services team.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
While you will guide the culinary team in meal preparations, this role does not require hands-on cooking, allowing you to focus on leadership, management, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our residents.
Qualifications
- Have a passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional dining experiences.
- Prior success in working in or managing dining services.
- Has experience working with budgets.
- Have or obtain a food handlers license
- Has the ability to organize and supervise dining service staff
- English language required.
- CPR Certification (preferred).
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test.
