Bonanza Valley Lumber is a locally owned, family-operated lumberyard that has proudly
served Central Minnesota for more than 30 years. We are looking for an organized,
customer-focused professional who enjoys helping customers bring their building projects
to life. Whether working with homeowners, contractors, or builders, you'll play a key role in
providing knowledgeable service, accurate estimates, and exceptional customer support.
What You'll Do
- Prepare material estimates and quotes from blueprints, plans, and customer project information.
- Assist customers in selecting lumber, building materials, windows, doors, roofing, siding, and other products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners.
- Process sales orders, special orders, and customer invoices accurately.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist walk-in customers.
- Coordinate deliveries and customer pickups with the yard and delivery team.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and help convert estimates into sales.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is preferred (or willingness to learn).
- Previous experience in building materials, construction, estimating, or inside sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of lumber and building products is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Pay Based On Experience
Benefit Package Available
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
