With the new and exciting merger of Uqora, Equelle, and Bonafide, the Company is looking for a Senior Manager, Quality to manage Quality personnel and activities within the department. The Senior Manager of Quality will report to the Senior Director of Quality and Regulatory and evaluate the QMS to create, modify, and streamline processes for continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the trending and reporting for a variety of key aspects of the department including but not limited to vendor qualification and risk management, product testing, stability, non-conformances, and complaints.
The Senior Manager will be involved in the launch of a new company-wide ERP system, providing insights on necessary applications to ensure robust processes within the system. In addition, the Senior Manager will oversee day-to-day activities and ensure the compliance of the Quality Management System to applicable cGMP standards and guidelines and provide performance indicators. The Senior Manager, Quality reports to the Senior Director, Quality and Regulatory, as well as other members of the management team on a periodic basis.

National Target Base Pay Range: $115,000.00. - $195,000.00.
The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $127,000.00 - $217,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role. Key Responsibilites
- Management of quality department activities including but not limited to:
- Lead the quality product release specification process.
- Ensure finished product release is timely and effectively work with Operations team to communicate delays.
- Communicate with outside vendors and laboratories, as needed.
- Collaborate on the strategic development of the new products with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Product teams.
- Lead Standard Operating Procedure development and/or modification, as needed.
- Problem-solve product quality issues including testing and manufacturing issues.
- Review Quality Agreements, MSAs and other contractual agreements.
- Train and develop quality team members.
- Collaborate with Management team across multiple disciplines to execute strategic plans.
- Willing to travel occasionally to headquarter office(s) and industry conferences.
- Ability to interpret rules and regulations to be able to provide agile solutions to challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to consistently deliver on projects and communicate results with supervisor and other management team members.
- Drive continuous improvement to make a direct impact on a rapidly growing company.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in science, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. Preferred management in OTC and medical device industries.
- Previous working knowledge of analytical, microbiological, and contaminant testing in OTC, cosmetic, dietary supplement and medical device industries.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of 21 CFR
- 111, 117, 211, 820, 101, and MoCRA.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to lead QA and QC activities and effectively write procedures with key stakeholders.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and ability to communicate in small and large settings.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems and be able to foresee problems to proactively mitigate.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, regulatory and product teams.
- Reliable and capable of being highly productive in a hybrid work environment.
