Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on welding and fabrication experience with light gauge stainless and aluminum, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Work with both light and heavy gauge aluminum and stainless steel.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret drawings and welding specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, and weld metal components accurately.
- Fabricate and assemble components based on shop drawings.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding standards.
- Work independently as well as effectively with other team members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional welder.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Welding certifications are a plus.
