Duties
- Supervise and motivate cashier staff to deliver top-tier customer service while maintaining efficiency during peak hours
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers, managing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with security policies
- Train new employees on POS (Point of Sale) systems, pricing strategies, and customer service standards
- Manage inventory control related to cashier operations, including stock replenishment and merchandising support
- Collaborate with management on purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities.
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or cashier supervision with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Proficient in POS systems, inventory and basic math calculations
- Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask across sales management, merchandising, stocking, and operational tasks
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and store management best practices
- Experience with budgeting, operational management, inventory control, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
